I am a certified Level 1 Investigator. 281—102.1(280) It is the purpose and intent of these rules to create a uniform procedure for the reporting, investigation, and disposition of allegations of abuse of students directly resulting from the actions of school employees or their agents. The scope of this policy is limited to protecting children in prekindergarten and K-12 educational programs. 281—102.2(280)
Rule 281-102.12; Level 2 Investigator's Duties:
Upon referral by the designated investigator, the level-two investigator appointed, contracted, requested or retained under subrule 102.5(2) shall review the report of abuse and the designated investigator's report, if any, promptly conduct further investigation and create a written narrative report.
The McGrath Response System thoroughly addresses Title VI (discrimination based on race, color, and national origin), Title VII (sexual harassment in employment) and Title IX (discrimination on the basis of sex, sexual harassment and sexual misconduct in education), in addition to intake and investigation of bullying concerns. It covers student-to-student, student-to-staff, staff-to-staff, and staff-to-student issues and is complaint with the new Title IX Final Rule.
